RMR Screw Kit
Torx Plus mounting screw kit for RMR-pattern optics.
Designed specifically for use with our VCOG piggyback mounts, these 1/2" screws provide secure optic mounting with improved driver engagement compared to standard Torx fasteners.
Includes:
- Torx Plus mounting screws
- Matching Torx Plus driver bit
When purchased together with an RMR VCOG mount, this kit is included at no additional charge.
Why Torx Plus?
Torx Plus fasteners offer several advantages over standard Torx designs, including:
- Increased torque capacity
- Reduced cam-out
- Improved driver engagement
- Reduced fastener and tool wear
The modified geometry increases contact area between the driver and fastener, reducing stress concentration and minimizing slippage during installation.

These screws are designed specifically for use with our VCOG RMR mounts and are not guaranteed to fit other mounting systems.
